Accountability

Accountable for identifying the prospective customers and achieving the sales targets for the assigned business regions for Atum Solar.

Responsibilities
  • Prepares Monthly/Quarterly/Half Yearly/Annual sales plans for the assigned regions in consultation with HOD.
  • Identifies prospective customers, EPC contractors, architects, industrial consultants, solar rooftop project developers, Government bodies/agencies for Atum.
  • Attending all enquiries with promotion materials and information necessary to convert them into sales orders.
  • Coordinates with prospective customers through various modes of communication and positions Atum product, Projects & services.
  • Schedules meetings with prospective customers and makes necessary presentations to impact the decision patterns of moving to Atum solar product and services. Follows up periodically with prospective clients and ensures conversion of sales orders.
  • Expands the extended network of solar EPC contractors, architects, consultants, interior designers, Applicators, to improve the sales order pipeline.
  • Identify and nominate strong dealers/distributors in consultation with HOD for appointments.
  • Ensure the dealers and distributors are continuously engaged and aligned with our Atum products as brand ambassadors.
  • Scan for various RFP & bidding requirements in the market for solar roofing and coordinate with EPC and Project teams for preparation of quotations and technical documentation of products/services offered by Atum. Ensure timely responses to bids/RFPs in consultation with HOD.
  • Understands client requirements and coordinates with Tech/EPC team for feasibility of executing specific requirements. Also coordinates with project teams for any queries and directs client-specific queries on execution.
  • Monitors sales & collection of assigned area/regions by reviewing the sales team’s targets & performance.
  • Implements credit policy of the company, analyses outstanding payments and follows up with concerned dealers/distributors/customers for early realization of payments.
  • Coordinate with EPC, Project teams for after-sales service activities and requests and ensure seamless communication among stakeholders aimed at improving the satisfaction levels of customers.
  • Monitors timely supply of materials and attends to various complaints received from customers (quality/price/quantity) on priority basis and addresses the issues immediately in consultation with HOD.
  • Support branding activities by collaborating on various initiatives such as web and print media designs, stall designs, and other marketing communication materials/activities.
  • Ensures Atum brand is positioned in the assigned regions/markets by implementing various publicity initiatives such as brand campaigns, mockups, mobility vans, kiosks, exhibitions, hoardings, dealer signboards, etc.
  • Consults with HOD and arranges for necessary materials/their logistics for promotional campaigns.
  • Maintains the database of market players/competition landscape and gathers intelligence on customers/industry.
  • Ensure timely coordination for collections, payments, and promotional activities with the established distributor/dealer/extended partner networks.
  • Attends review meetings and provides necessary information on sales pipeline/orders/conversions/issues/receipts/payments, updates, etc., to HOD/top management.
  • Scouts for various empanelment opportunities with government agencies/industry bodies/associations to improve the visibility of Visaka products and services.
  • Ensure timely and effective implementation of performance management system by seeking/providing regular feedback, attending to/conducting formal reviews, and identifying training and development needs.
  • Discharge any additional roles and responsibilities as directed by management from time to time.
